This sprint, we had a lot of changes when it came to what we are including in the game and what had to be cut. We ended up getting some good feedback letting us know that it is feeling like we are making 2 separate games rather than 1 game with a little mini game added on so the designer went through and made a list of all the features and then we had a meeting to reprioritize the features of the game to make sure that we are making 1 game and we can finish on time. After that meeting, I went through the backlog to reprioritize the items in there as well as alter the wording of some cards because the vision for that item changed. Ultimately, we did have a lot of things change, and now we are going to be focusing more on refining what we have instead of adding on more than what we need.

Something that I worked on this sprint that was not producer-related work was making the audio for when the player hits the up, down, left, and right arrows during the rhythm challenge. Before, the audio was just some placeholder stuff, but now we have individual audio for the different arrows when you get the timings right. What the audio consisted of was some piano notes, for the up arrow I wanted to go for a higher-pitched sound, and the opposite for the down, so those 2 are the highest and lowest pitch of the 4. While for the left and right, I tried to go more towards the middle of the up and down, but the left and right would be leaning one way or the other. I had the right arrow lean more towards the down arrow, and the left be closer to the up arrow. These audio clips will be used to add another indication that the player is hitting the arrows correctly.
The last non-producer work I did was making our 2nd song for the rhythm challenge. Going forward, I believe that we are going to be making a switch from making our own music to finding royalty-free music and using that. The reason for that is that music creation is very difficult, and I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to music, and we want to have around 7 songs. So, in order to meet this goal, we are going to be making the switch so that we can pump out the music fairly quickly. The only reason we did not do this from the start is that we were under the assumption that we had to make our own music and sound effects, but we never asked, and so we are going to be switching and seeing how it works out. The reason we thought we had to make our own was because we had some members say that for other projects, they were forced to make their own or not have any audio at all, but we never asked why that was the case.
